The present city of Richmond was initially founded officially in the year of 1737.
Richmond became the capital of the Colony and Dominion of Virginia in the year 1780. Richmond played key roles in both the Revolutionary War period and in the American Civil War as well. Drug Addiction and Substance Abuse in the City of Richmond
Like with many other cities in the Commonwealth of Virginia and all up and down the Eastern seaboard, drug addiction, alcohol addiction, and substance abuse in general has been the most leading health-related concern of the last decade. Heroin in particular has made a name for itself in Richmond, Virginia Beach, Chesapeake, and in many other areas as well. It is now up to the residents of Richmond and the drug addicts themselves to stop this trend of drug abuse before it spirals out of control.
